Inheriting 60-year clinical experience of the Dept of Plastic Surgery of PUTH, Professor Li, who always advocates natural and harmonious surgical results, has successfully finished over 1000 cases of plastic or aesthetic operations on eye, nose, facial contouring, lip and palate over two decades. Owning painting skill and abundant clinical experience, Professor Li has gracious aesthetic standard and design tactics as good as sculptor for human body and face. His surgical techniques is so skilled that his fellows say what a enjoyment to see Professor Li’s operation Professor Li, praised as artist in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery, is very proficient in eye, nose and facial contouring cosmetic surgery and repairing cleft lip and palate. In recent years, he has made great advances in treating eye trauma, cleft lip and palate and chest, thus making the plastic and aesthetic surgery for face and body achieve the profound artistic creation from the outside to the inside harmoniously. Professor Li is very keen to work for public welfare and he has been in the International Smile Campaign for nearly 10 years. Every year he cures cleft lip or palate children for free in China and other countries during his official holidays. Apart from that, he has contributed his wisdom to the theoretical research of plastic surgery, publishing dozens of articles domestically and internationally; and he represents China to attend international academic conferences several times. Because of his outstanding achievements, he holds several senior positions in professional societies and the standing member of editorial board of European Journal of Plastic Surgery.
